The Baldwin Fund Explainer

For the 10th year, Syracuse University’s Visual Communications Department in S.I. Newhouse School for Public Communication hosted the Pixels and Print Design Workshop. This workshop is a 48 hour design sprint that brings together students, professors and field professionals to redesign the branding ecosystem for a client.

As a part of the Motion Team, the goal was to craft a video explainer for our client: The Baldwin Fund. Together, we wrote a script, made many storyboards, designed, animated, and edited this all under 48 hours. Deciding on a collage style ultimately helped us bring in realism through much vibrancy. In the end, we were incredibly grateful to have Alec Baldwin himself voice this project.

Roles: Script writing, Animation, Design, Video editing

As a team, we collaborated on many of the different elements of this video, yet split the scenes up in order to work faster and each have our own task. The scene I created was the last one before the logo animation, helping wrap up the video.
